Sri Ramachandra University launches master’s program in public health

In 2010, Sri Ramachandra University (SRU), in association with University of California, Berkeley, launched the first master’s program in public health for occupational and environmental health in India. The two-year MPH (four semesters) is being offered by the department of environmental health engineering of SRU in collaboration with the School of Public Health, UCB. Support for development of the faculty and curriculum came from NIH’s Fogarty International Center’s Program in International Training and Research in Occupational and Environmental Health.
